location: Subotica is located in Vojvodina in the North next to the Serbian-Hungarian border. The town is approximately 175 km away of Belgrade and approximately the same distance away from Budapest.

II. historical background

since 1990 the common realization of the international youth festival "United Games of Nations" with the participation of six European countries

Against the background of this common event it was decided to establish an official town twinning for a better and easier realization of further common activities.


III. selected activities

annual realization of the weekly youth festival "United Games of Nations" in Treptow-Köpenick and in the other involved communes with a diversified programme: The aim is to promote the understanding across the borders. The young people choose a particular topic, which will be transformed within workshops. Common sportive activities and sightseeing are also included in the programme.
