Responsibilities
The co-ordinator for European and international affairs in the borough office Treptow-Koepenick is responsible for:
co-ordination of the European activities within the borough office
advising and supporting citizens, companies, associations and departments of the borough administration to European funding programs
and other topics related to the European Union
Initiation and control of EU-funded projects below the leadership working group or participation of the district
administration
representation of the Treptow-Koepenick borough office in European affairs
maintenance and consolidation of the relations of the borough with its twin cities, including the organization and execution of common
projects
intermediation of contacts to potential project partners within the European Union member states
establishing of sustainable relations with partners on the European level for an economic, political, cultural, sporty co-operation
EU-related public relations
The task force Europe of the Treptow-Koepenick borough office is responsible for exchange of information, coordination of EU-related activities within the borough office and is responsible for the development of project proposals and acquisition of EU-funds.
